HALIFAX – Concern is growing over the disappearance of a Halifax man with a medical condition who has gone missing.
Taylor Samson, 22, was last seen in the 6000-block of South Street on Saturday night. He was hanging out with friends and said he was going out and would be right back. He hasn’t been seen since.
His family tells Global News that Samson is very routine, follows a schedule and his disappearance is out of the ordinary.
But there are also concerns for his health.
“There is a medical condition that was reported by his mother that he does have problems with his liver that requires medication,” said Cst. Stacy Opalka with Halifax Regional Police.
Opalka said the missing person’s case is unique because it does not fit Samson’s character. His family said he left behind his wallet and his car.
“It is concerning,” said Opalka.
“As the investigation continues, we canvas the area, we look for any leads on video surveillance and we ask anyone if they have any information to contact police.”
