Cyclist struck in West Kelowna

WEST KELOWNA — A cyclist was rushed to hospital Wednesday morning after being struck by a vehicle.

The incident happened on Highway 97, just north of Hudson Road, where police say the vehicle’s mirror struck the northbound-travelling cyclist.

According to RCMP witness reports, the vehicle crossed the white line at the edge of the highway before knocking the cyclist to the ground.

Police say the cyclist suffered minor injuries.
