MONTREAL – The Molson Brewery may soon be moving its historic facilities to another location.
The building is well-known in Montreal, having been on Notre-Dame Street East since 1786, but the company said it wants to modernize the site.
According to officials, there are two other options to moving: renovate the current facilities or build a new plant on the same site.
Director of Corporate Affairs at Molson Coors François Lefebvre confirmed no matter what, operations will stay in Montreal and the site will always maintain its history.
Molson Brewery is expected to make a decision by the end of the year.
