Motorcycle crash with cyclist leads to impaired charges

MOOSE JAW, Sask. – A motorcyclist in Moose Jaw has been charged with impaired driving after he struck a man riding a bicycle Friday night.

The collision happened on Manitoba Street, just west of Mosaic Place, around 9:30 p.m.

The 42-year-old cyclist is recovering from cuts to his face and head.

The 29-year-old driver of the motorcycle was arrested and charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm. He’s scheduled to appear in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on June 8.
