KELOWNA — RCMP are investigating a serious assault in a Kelowna park. It happened in Davie Road Park in Rutland Saturday night.
Police have been on scene all day interviewing neighbours and collecting evidence.

RCMP will only say they’re investigating a serious assault with a weapon, but a neighbour says she saw a group of older teenagers run into the park, one of them carrying what looked like a heavy piece of pipe.
A short while later, she saw the teens jump into a truck and drive away.
Police have cordoned off the park as they continue to investigate.
