Shoyoye pleaded guilty earlier this month to dangerous driving causing death. He slammed his vehicle into the Ultracuts salon at Portage Avenue and Rouge Road in April 2012.

The crash killed hair dresser Kendall Wiebe, 27, and severely injured another woman.

Kendall Wiebe, 27, was killed when a car drove through the front of an Ultracuts hair salon in Winnipeg.

Crash data recovered from the vehicle shows it was traveling 100 kilometres per hour when it hit the store; Shoyoye was also found to have a dismal driving record, with 11 collisions over 10 years including 8 in which he was 100 per cent responsible.
