“TTC customers can now get access to the real-time information that is important to them,” said TTC Chief Customer Officer Chris Upfold in a media release.

The Wi-Fi network is available in all public areas of stations, including platforms, mezzanines, walkways and stairwells.

Wi-Fi is scheduled to be activated at all remaining stations over the next two years.

Transit officials say the service is financially supported through advertising and comes at no cost to the TTC or its customers.
