CALGARY – Police are investigating after thieves stole dozens of laptops from a Calgary school over the weekend.
Police were called to James Short Memorial School in the 6300 block of 5th Ave S.E. for reports of a break and enter around 4 a.m. on Sunday.

Investigators say 49 laptops were stolen from the school, with an estimated value of at $75,000.
The Calgary Board of Education says the laptops are encrypted and information on them is secure.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or call Crime Stoppers.
