TORONTO – Family-founded brand Triarchy brought their passion for adventure and the outdoors to its fall-winter collection which offered a cool take to camp style.

“We’re definitely always on the move because we like to have fun, so it seemed like a natural fit — it really did,” said Ania Taubenfligel. She co-founded the Vancouver-born, L.A.-bred label with her brothers, Adam and Mark.

Customized patches, decals and patchwork panelling added bold blasts of colour to denim featured on the Triarchy runway at World MasterCard Fashion Week on Wednesday.

Jean styles span the full spectrum of blue hues from faded distressed denim to deeper indigo shades. The silhouettes showcased included both slim-fitting and more relaxed styles.

“What I love so much about denim — and what I keep getting surprised by — is each season we create a new collection out of one material,” said Adam.

“It’s so different from each piece in that collection and every collection before it. It’s like working with a blank canvas every time.”
