WINNIPEG — Approximately 1,800 Manitoba Hydro customers are without power after a pole fire at Regent Avenue and Plessis Road.
The outage is affecting customers between the CPR main line, Regent Avenue, Sanford Fleming Road and Kildonan Meadow Drive.

In a tweet sent out just before 9 p.m. Tuesday night Manitoba Hydro said crews were working to replace the damaged 70-foot pole. They also said that the time of restoration is unknown.

This follows a power outage caused by a separate pole fire Monday night that left more than 5,000 without power.
