WINNIPEG – Jane Bergman was shaken by a car crashing into her house Monday morning – literally.
“I heard a loud bang and everything in the house shook,” said Bergman, who lives at the intersection of Leila Avenue and Aikins Street in West Kildonan.

Bergman went outside to find a Lexus SUV had plowed into the front of her home after hitting the next-door neighbour’s house and mowing down a small tree.
A Chevy SUV was also involved in the crash – it appeared to have been hit in the front driver-side door.
A woman driver was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Police haven’t released information about the cause of the crash.
