TORONTO – A man employed as an educational assistant at a Toronto high school is facing eight charges of sexual exploitation involving a student and police believe there may be more victims.
Patrick Persaud, 58, of Toronto was arrested March 13 for allegedly luring and sexually exploiting a student with a disability on numerous occasions at Neil McNeil High School.
Toronto police say the accused also worked at St. Sylvester Catholic School from 2005 to 2009.
Authorities are encouraging anyone with information about Persaud or potential victims to come forward.
