St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2015 takes to the streets of downtown Vancouver

WATCH ABOVE: It was a sea of green in downtown Vancouver today. Thousands turned up for the city’s annual St. Patrick’s Day parade. Jennifer Palma reports.

The 2015 St. Patrick’s Day Parade took place in downtown Vancouver Sunday.

The parade is the most popular part of CelticFest, a celebration of Celtic culture. Organizers expected up to 200,000 people to take in the good craic at this year’s parade.

It started at 11 a.m., affecting traffic and parking in parts of Vancouver’s downtown core.

In addition to the parade, there was free music and entertainment at the Celtic Village & Street Market on Granville and Robson.
