WINNIPEG — Police have one man in custody after responding to reports of gunshots in a St. Vital neighbourhood.
Multiple police officers including the tactical unit surrounded an apartment building shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Police tell Global News they now have one person in custody who was firing a BB gun in the direction of a group of kids playing soccer in a nearby field.
They don’t believe anyone was struck but the incident alarmed neighbours.
No charges have been laid at this point.
