The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has now located a person of interest in a murder in Surrey last month.
44 year old Donald Lyle Salahub was wanted Canada-wide after a parole violation in early February. Salahub was identified as a person of interest in the homicide of Michael Amy, who was found dead in a vehicle in Surrey on Feb. 27.
Salahub was arrested in Calgary, Alberta on March 20 and remains in custody.

The relationship between the two is unknown.
Salahub has connections across western Canada and is originally from Manitoba. He is 44 years old and described as 5’11” tall, more than 200 lbs with brown hair and eyes.
