TORONTO – Fire crews were called to a downtown Toronto hotel late Wednesday evening after its outdoor sign erupted in flames.
The fire started around 11 p.m. sending charred debris falling to the ground.

The one-alarm blaze was quickly brought under control and no injuries were reported.
The hotel is located on Jarvis Street between Dundas Street East and Shuter Street.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
