MONCTON – Six arrests have been made in connection with a stabbing that occurred in Moncton on Monday.
Police were called Monday evening to a home on Robinson Street where an incident had occurred at a house party earlier that evening. A 43-year-old man from Moncton was transported to Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre with serious injuries and was later released.
Five men and one woman were arrested on Tuesday in connection with the incident. Two men and the woman were later released. The three other men, aged 25, 31 and 53, all of Moncton, were held in custody and are scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on Wednesday afternoon.
A firearm and two vehicles were seized and a search warrant was executed at the house on Robinson Street. Forensic Identification experts were also on scene.
RCMP are continuing to investigate.
