Fish Creek human remains identified

CALGARY – An investigation into human remains discovered in Fish Creek Provincial Park has concluded they aren’t criminal in nature.

A passer-by made the discovery around 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

Police say the body has been identified as that of 52-year-old Patricia Martha Overes, who went missing late last month.

The mother left her Chaparral home on foot on January 29th, and hadn’t been seen or heard from since.

Police say no foul play is suspected.
