Okanagan forecast: mostly dry for the rest of the work week

Weather update: Monday February 9th 4:15pm

After a series of recent systems that kept showers in the forecast, an upper ridge will build in Tuesday to dry things out.

Daytime high temperatures will continue to stay above seasonal over the next several days and with the exception of a small shower risk Tuesday morning, there will be little or no precipitation for the rest of the work week.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

Usually this type of a weather pattern encourages the development of valley cloud, but because we have such mild air already near the surface, there is uncertainty about how much cloud will develop near the valley base. In the meantime, keep those shades handy for possible sunny breaks as early as Tuesday afternoon, and for the rest of the work week!

More details coming up at 5, 6:30 and 11pm!
