String of fires in North Central concerning for Regina Fire

REGINA – There were two more fires in North Central Regina on Thursday night which is concerning firefighters.

A call came into Regina Fire just after 8:30 p.m. and fire crews responded to a blaze on the 1000 block of Rae Street, then about an hour later another call came in from the 1300 block of Garnet Street about another fire.

Both of the homes were vacant and fire officials are saying that at least one of the fires was set deliberately.

These two blazes will bring the total to six fires in the area in the last four days.

Regina Police and Regina Fire are both investigating the cause of the blazes.
