Okanagan forecast: high freezing levels

Weather update: Friday February 6th 5am

Freezing levels are now between 1800 and 2000m, and any precipitation near the valley base will be in liquid form.

The Coastal Mountains are doing a good job keeping the majority of the rain on the coast. However isolated showers are possible for the Southern Interior and they will fall from now until the weekend under a persistent southwesterly flow.  Keep an eye out for the sunny breaks in between the spotty showers!

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

We will be in between systems late Saturday/Sunday morning, but then another low will move up from the south Sunday afternoon, with another chance of showers.

More details coming up at 5, 6:30 and 11pm!

Today’s daytime high range: 5 to 10C
