FREDERICTON – A mix of rain and snow hit parts of New Brunswick overnight Saturday and Environment Canada is warning there’s more to come.
Snow began to fall on Fredericton late Saturday evening. Residents woke up to about 20 centimetres Sunday morning.
Along the Bay of Fundy, Saint John had a mix of precipitation fall throughout Saturday night while Moncton woke up to about 15 centimetres of snow.
NB Power was reporting 42 outages by noon Sunday, most in Fredericton, Sussex and Sackville areas.
But Environment Canada is warning more is on its way as we head into the week.
Another major weather system will hit N.B. on Tuesday. The system will bring significant amounts of snow and strong winds.
Southern regions could see rain heading into Wednesday.
