Police seek three women from deadly New Year’s party in Killarney

CALGARY – Police are asking the public for help locating three women who may have information on a deadly New Year’s shooting.

One man was killed and six others were injured when gunfire erupted at a home in the 1900 block of 36th Street S.W. on January 1st.

Police later confirmed 26-year-old Abdullahi Ahmed was the young man killed in the attack.

Investigators have released CCTV images of three women they believe were at the party at the time of the shooting.

The first woman is in her early 20’s with long black hair. She was wearing a fur vest, with another jean vest on top.

The second woman is in her mid 20’s with long straight hair, wearing a red dress and white coat.

The third woman is in her mid 20’s with long, wavy hair and was wearing a short horizontal striped dress.

Anyone who may have seen these women, or know of their whereabouts, is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
