KINDERSLEY, Sask. – Highway 7 east of Kindersley, Sask. has reopened after being closed for several hours Wednesday due to two crashes. RCMP say both happened approximately five kilometres east of the city.

The second one happened about a half-hour later at the same location. An eastbound semi came upon the first crash and ran into a flat-bed trailer. The semi then jack-knifed, blocking both lanes of traffic while the flat-bed trailer slid over and hit the SUV.

Police say icy road conditions, fog, poor visibility and speed are factors in the crashes.
