UPDATED: Outage knocks out power to 2,300 in south-end Halifax

HALIFAX – A power outage left about 2,300 people in Halifax’s south end without electricity on Thursday afternoon.

The outage occurred around 2:30 p.m. and lasted until about 4 p.m.

The affected customers were in an area roughly bounded by Sackville Street, Robie Street, South Street and Lower Water Street.
