Greg Selinger opens campaign headquarters

WINNIPEG – Premier Greg Selinger opened his campaign headquarters in St. Boniface Saturday afternoon.

Selinger, who is running to keep his job, called for a leadership vote after a caucus revolt late last year.

On Saturday he said he would continue to lead the NDP and Manitoba into the party convention and the next provincial election.

He will run against the two other candidates, former ministers Theresa Oswald and Steve Ashton. All three will try to have delegates who support them elected at constituency meetings scheduled for February.
