Okanagan forecast: valley cloud… sun at higher elevations

Weather update: Wednesday January 7th 5am

Mother Nature will give our bodies a break from having to shovel for the next little while.  Although the snow lingered in the Shuswap yesterday, all areas across the BC Southern Interior will see a much drier trend for the next few days.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

An upper ridge will keep any systems away but we will also see valley cloud over the next couple of days.  A drive up to higher elevations will require some sunglasses though!

A frontal system will try to make its way inland on Friday but at this time it looks too weak to bring any measurable precipitation.

Today’s daytime high range: 0 to +4C
