At 6:45am we’ll talk with Jennier Isenor from the College of Pharmacy with Dalhousie University about the changing role of having pharmacists provide the flu shot here in Nova Scotia. With health professionals strongly recommending the flu shot, the increased availability at pharamcies could make a significant impact on the immunization rate in the province.

Bedford will be a hockey hotbed this week as the BMO Centre plays host to the 3rd Annual East Coast Ice Jam. The five-day hockey tournament features some of the top major midget and major bantam teams and players from all across Atlantic Canada and beyond. At 7:15am we’ll sit down with tournament chair Geoff Newton to talk about the event and what up-and-coming hockey prospects to watch for.
