TORONTO — Canadian actress Alison Pill announced Saturday she is engaged.
The 29-year-old Toronto native and actor Joshua Leonard, 39, shared the happy news — and a picture of her ring — on Instagram.
“Let’s do this, 2015!!!!,” Pill wrote next to a photo of the couple in California’s Joshua Tree National Park.
Pill and Leonard spent part of the holiday season in Toronto, where they visited her family’s Old Mill area home, went for walks in nearby High Park and Etienne Brulé Park, and toured the Art Gallery of Ontario and Ripley’s Aquarium.
Pill, who currently stars on The Newsroom, has had roles in 2011’s Midnight in Paris and 2013’s Snowpiercer.
Leonard starred in 1999’s The Blair Witch Project and appeared in last year’s If I Stay.
It will be the first marriage for both.
Pill was engaged to Canadian actor Jay Baruchel until they parted ways in early 2013.
