If you can’t afford a trip to the tropics this winter, consider changing the climate inside your home. Tropical plants can add a fresh punch of colour and help clean the air in your house or office during these dreary months.
This latest idea from GardenWorks’ Scott Pearce and Leanne Johnson could not be easier. It does not require any extra soil; you can complete the project in minutes without making any mess.
To complete this project you will need:
– A small luggage trunk or other hard-sided container
– Plastic sheeting or clear garbage bags
– A collection of tropical plants. Be creative and choose your plants based on colour, texture and size
– Sticks, branches or small pieces of wood with bark
– A watering can
