Okanagan Forecast: Christmas Sun, More Cloud on Boxing Day

Weather update: Wednesday December 24th 4:15pm

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Santa is on his way :)

We are going to switch to a drier northerly flow aloft starting Christmas Day and through the weekend.

This will bring in cooler air, and our daytime temperatures will fall back down closer to our seasonal averages near freezing.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

We will be in between weather systems on Thursday and Santa will bring us sunny breaks after morning fog for Christmas, but then a change will start late Friday.

Although it doesn’t look like a major storm at this time, signs still point to a weather system moving in this weekend, and flurries in the valley are possible Saturday.

See you at 5:30 (we only have a half hour cast tonight on Christmas Eve from 5:30 to 6:00pm), 6:30 and 11pm tonight! We will not have any local Okanagan broadcasts on Christmas Day but we will return on Boxing Day.
