Tusket Falls, NS – One man is dead and a woman has been taken to hospital following a crash on Highway 103 near Yarmouth.
RCMP say the collision happened just after 8:00 p.m. near distance marker 9 on Highway 103 in Tusket Falls. A 65-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His female passenger was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Two occupants of the second vehicle sustained undisclosed, non-life threatening injuries.
Traffic analysts were called to the scene and the highway is expected to remain closed for 2 to 4 hours. The exact cause of the crash is not yet known.
