The fun continues on The Morning News on Tuesday as Jonathan Torrens continues his stint as guest host with Paul Brothers. We’ll have more fun segments as we continue to countdown to Christmas – including the first-ever Morning News quartet who will be performing some holiday classics live throughout the show.
At 6:15am we welcome Ray Bradshaw to the Red Table to talk some sports. The legendary reporter will show us some old highlights of when he was host of the much loved show Sportsline back in the day on Global Halifax.
Chef Matt Krizane, from Mateus Bistro in Mahone Bay, drops by at 6:45am to show Jonathan a few tips on how to make some extra-special appetizers, perfect for any bachelor who might be hosting a party this holiday season.
As you can imagine, if you’re a teacher, it’s a little hard to keep your class focused this month, with visions of sugarplums dancing in kids’ heads. At 7:15am Jonathan Torrens will introduce you to a couple of teachers from Valley Elementary who have come up with a unique solution.
At 7:45 am Major Norman Hanley of 12 Wing Shearwater drops by to talk with Jonathan Torrens and Paul Brothers about the Royal Canadian Air Force’s efforts to track Santa this Christmas Eve.
As you saw on Friday’s show, Paul got his shopping done for his favourite things segment but now he needs to do some last minute shopping for the family. Oops. Lucky for Paul and all the other people that take it down to the wire, Gillian Wesley is still offering plenty of holiday gift ideas from her 2014 local wish-list. At 8:15am Gillian will be in one last time for the holidays to make sure you make that list and check it twice.
