Okanagan Forecast:  Mild and Wet Conditions = Rain / Snow Mix

Weather update: Thursday December 18th 4:15pm

A frontal system will cross our region Thursday night / Friday morning bringing rain and snow to areas near the lake.  With freezing levels at about 600m Thursday night and rising back up to 1000m Friday afternoon, expect snow on the pass summits.

There will be partial clearing Friday afternoon in the wake of the front, however the break will be short-lived as the next system will move in Saturday afternoon with more rain and snow.

Accompanying this system is very mild air, and freezing levels will rise up to over 1500m by Sunday.  Temperatures in the valley will be several degrees above freezing for a daytime high through the weekend.

See you at 5, 6:30 and 11pm tonight!

Friday’s Highs: 1 to 5C
