HALIFAX – RCMP in Nova Scotia have confirmed a 24-year old woman has died after a head on collision on Highway 101 near Windsor early Monday morning.
The incident happened around 4 a.m. when a mini-van and a delivery truck collided between exits six and seven on the highway.
RCMP Sgt. Alain LeBlanc said the woman was driving the mini-van, but haven’t yet released her identity.
The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries.
He said crews are cleaning up a minor fuel leak caused by the accident, and the highway will remain closed throughout the morning.
