Elk Island Public Schools cancels yellow bus service Friday; schools remain open

EDMONTON – Yellow bus service for Elk Island Public Schools will not be running Friday due to poor weather and road conditions.

Late Thursday night, EIPS said while bus service to and from school will not run, all schools will be open to students and staff Friday.

The bus cancellation applies to all bus routes in all areas of EIPS:

• Sherwood Park
• Strathcona County
• Fort Saskatchewan
• Lamont County, including Andrew, Bruderheim, Lamont, Mundare
• County of Minburn, including Vegreville
