HALIFAX – Three people are recovering after being hit by a car in Dartmouth.
It happened around 8:40 p.m. on Monday at the intersection of Victoria Road and Nantucket Avenue.

Police said a 60-year-old driver hit the pedestrians, who were in a crosswalk, as he turned onto Nantucket Avenue.
The victims were knocked to the ground but there were no major injuries.
Police said the driver will not be charged. adding heavy rain was a contributing factor in the collision.
