Weather update: Thursday November 20th 4:15pm
A mostly dry start on Friday but the next Pacific frontal system will move onshore in the afternoon. With freezing levels hovering around 850m, we will likely see both rain and snow in the valley.
This is great news for the local ski hills as they will get some much needed snow heading into the weekend.
A chance of rain or snow will linger around early Saturday morning, but then some clearing is expected and sunny breaks are possible by Saturday midday.
Sunday looks quiet with just a slight chance of showers as Sunday’s system doesn’t pack as much punch.
A continued westerly flow aloft will keep driving more weather systems across our region next week.
Friday’s Highs: 1C to +6C
