CALGARY – Canada Olympic Park has kicked off its winter season.
The park opened to skiers and snowboarders on Saturday morning.

The Legacy chairlift, as well as the silver and gold carpets and the rail park will all be open to the public.
Park officials began making snow and that will continue as long as the weather is cold enough.
Nakiska Mountain Resort in Kananaskis also opened on Saturday and Banff’s Sunshine Village welcomed guests for the first time this season on Friday.
