Police blame southwest rollover on impaired driving

CALGARY – Police say alcohol is believed to have been a factor in a rollover in the city’s southwest on Thursday morning.

A car attempting to make a turn at 58th Avenue and Meadowview Road S.W flipped onto its side.

Investigators allege both people in the car were impaired, but haven’t been able to determine who was behind the wheel.

Neither of the occupants were hurt in the crash. Police took them both into custody when they arrived at the scene.
