WINNIPEG – A seven-year-old Winnipeg girl who went missing on Sunday has been found, police say.
Police released information she had been found just before 9 a.m.

Earlier in the morning they had asked for help finding the girl, who had been last reported seen Sunday evening in the 200 block of Stella Avenue in Winnipeg’s North End.
An Amber Alert, which carries strict protocols for use, had not been issued because there was no indication the girl was abducted, police said. The first criterion in issuing an Amber Alert is that an abduction has been confirmed.
