HALIFAX – Police are investigating after a Molotov cocktail was thrown into a home on Williams Lake Road early Wednesday morning.
It failed to ignite, and nobody was injured.

Halifax Regional Police say those who threw the firebomb fled the area in a car around 1:30 a.m.
The home was occupied, and police say it’s likely the suspects knew the people in the home.
So far, police don’t have any descriptions for the suspects. They are asking anyone with information to come forward.
