Charges pending after crash between combine, truck

FORT QU’APPELLE, Sask. – RCMP are investigating after a pickup truck and a combine collided near Fort Qu’Appelle, Sask. Saturday.

Mounties were called to the crash on Highway 727 at 8:39 p.m.

The driver of the pickup truck was trapped inside the vehicle and the local fire department used the jaws of life to extract him. He was taken to a Regina hospital with undisclosed injuries.

A female passenger had minor injuries and was examined on scene by EMS.

EMS also examined the woman who was driving the combine. Her injuries were minor and she was released.

RCMP say traffic charges are pending.
