Woman killed after being struck by TTC bus

A 65-year-old woman is dead after being struck by a TTC bus outside Lawrence West station around 10:30 Saturday morning.

According to Toronto Police spokesman Clint Stibbe, the bus struck the woman as the driver was making a left-hand turn. She became trapped underneath the bus and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Toronto Police Traffic Services are on scene.
