MONTREAL — Arson squad investigators are on the scene after a 50-year-old man perished in a house fire in Beaconsfield.
Firefighters were called to the home at 103 Beacon Hill Road at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday morning.
It seems the blaze broke out in the basement of the residence.
The 50-year-old man died in hospital, while two others were treated on the scene for smoke inhalation.
