CALGARY – Police are investigating an assault in the community of Bridlewood.
It happened around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday evening.
Investigators say a woman was running in the southwest neighbourhood when a man came up behind her.
He grabbed her and attempted to push her to the ground.
The woman was able to fight off her attacker and the man fled on foot.
The suspect is described as 5’9” tall, 40 to 50 years of age with dark, shoulder-length hair and a slim to medium build.
He was reportedly wearing a black t-shirt and black jeans.
