CALGARY – A police car was on its way to a medical call when it was hit near Elliston Regional Park Tuesday afternoon.
Investigators say two officers were in the vehicle and were on their way to a medical call with their lights flashing.
The police car was travelling westbound on 17th Avenue southeast.
Officers witnessed a car stop at a stop sign at 61st Street then continue into the intersection.
As it did so, the car T-Boned the police car.
Neither the two officers nor the female driver of the other car were injured.
Tow trucks quickly cleared the scene.
