SASKATOON – The Saskatoon Fire Department is investigating a townhouse fire on Sunday afternoon in the Forest Grove neighbourhood.
Around 1:30 p.m., fire crews quickly were called to structure fire at 58 Gray Avenue.
The crews on scene reported smoke showing from the second level and an offensive attack was initiated.
Firefighters had the blaze under control in eight minutes.
All occupants had evacuated the building when firefighters arrived. One was treated for smoke inhalation by fire paramedics and was then taken to St. Paul’s Hospital in stable condition.
Approximately $150,000 worth of damage was caused to a second floor bedroom and roof.
A fire investigator is on scene determining the cause.
