UPDATE: 3:21 p.m. – RCMP say the 33-year-old driver may have experienced a medical issue while behind the wheel.
KELOWNA, B.C. – A woman has been taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries after rolling her car on Highway 33 near MacKenzie Road after 1 p.m. Friday.
The children in the vehicle, 4 and 5-years-old, did not sustain injuries.
RCMP at the scene were not sure why the woman lost control of her sedan, hitting the curb and rolling the car, before coming to a stop next to a light standard.
Traffic on Highway 33 traveling into Kelowna was brought to a standstill while emergency crews cleared the scene.
RCMP believe the mother sustained minor injuries. She was taken to hospital for observation.
