TORONTO – A man who was “unlawfully at large” for two days in Toronto has been found, Toronto police say.

Thomas Brailsford, 54, was found not criminally responsible for the 2010 beheading death of his mother.

He was given a day pass from the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health on Monday and was the focus of an upgraded police search.

Brailsford was found in the Queen and Roncesvalles area at about 11 p.m Wednesday night.

Police are thanking the public for their assistance.
